Sony unveiled the Xperia Z earlier this month at CES and their flagship Android smartphone is due to launch in the UK on March 1st. Now we've learnt that the purple version of the Xperia Z will exclusive to O2.
The purple version of the Sony Xperia Z, pictured above, looks stunning and we're sure it'll tempt a number of people to pickup the smartphone from O2. Sadly , at the current time we don't have any other details on O2's Xperia Z tariffs.
Sony's smartphone will also be available in Black and White from a number of UK operators including Three and Vodafone. EE are yet to reveal whether they are planning to offer the smartphone on their 4G network.
The Sony Xperia Z is a truly stunning next-gen smartphone that has a 5 inch Mobile Bravia 2 touch-screen running at a resolution of 1920*1080 pixels. The mobile is just 6.99 mm thick , but is incredibly durable because it features Dragontail glass and is both water-resistant and dust-proof.
Powering the Xperia Z is a quad-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor that works with 2GB of RAM. Other features include a 13 mega-pixel rear-facing camera, 16GB of on-board memory and support for 4G, 3G, WiFi and NFC.
