Over the last couple of weeks a number of rumours about Samsung's Galaxy S4 have begun sprouting up all over the place including a leaked press image (posted above). The latest rumour to surface suggests that Samsung will launch the smartphone in April.
Previously reliable sources have reported that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will launch between April 15th and April 22nd. In the past the same source has correctly predicted the launch of the iPhone 5 and iPad Mini, so we have some faith in its accuracy.
The date seems reasonable because by April it'll be just under a year since the Korean giants launched the Galaxy S3. We expect April to be when Samsung unveil the device and that it'll then go on sale a month later which will give the Galaxy S3 a year on sale before it gets replaced.
So what else do we know about Samsung's Galaxy S4 ?
Previous rumours suggest that Samsung's Galaxy S4 will have a stunning 4.99 inch touch-screen running at a resolution of 1920*1080 pixels. That'll give the device an amazing 441 PPI and will enable it to display full HD multimedia movies !
The smartphone is expected to be powered by Samsung's new Exynos 5 octa-core processor which will be accompanied by 2GB of RAM. As you'd expect from a next-gen smartphone it supports 4G , as well as WiFi, NFC and Bluetooth.
Additionally, we expect the Galaxy S4 to have a 13 mega-pixel camera, a front-facing 2 mega-pixel snapper and to come in 16, 32 and 64GB models. It also looks set to come pre-loaded with Android Key Lime Pie which is the upcoming version of Google's operating system.
That's all we know about Samsung's smartphone at the current time, but as soon as we hear more we'll be sure to let you know.
