According to rumours, being reported by Sammobile, the tablet will have an 8 inch touch-screen display running at a resolution of 1280*800 pixels. That'll put in the same market as Google's Nexus 7 and we can't see the Korean companies device offering the same value as Google's tablet.
However, the 8 inch touch-screen could mark a sweet-point between the smaller 7 inch touch-screen of the Nexus 7 and the over-sized display of the full iPad. Another benefit of a smaller tablet is the reduced weight with the Note 8.0 expected to weigh just 330g.
Currently, we don't know what processor it'll have , but we know that the Note 8.0 will come with 2GB of RAM and will be available in a choice of either 16 or 32GB of on-board memory. Additionally, it'll be offered in both WiFi only and WiFi & 3G versions.
Other features of Samsung's tablet include a 5 mega-pixel camera, a front-facing 1.3 mega-pixel camera and a 4600 mAH battery. The Note 8.0 will come pre-loaded with Android Jelly Bean (4.2) and we presume it'll be upgradable to Android Key Lime Pie.
As soon as 3G hear anything more about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 you'll be the first to know. However, we're not expecting an official announcement until the Mobile World Congress begins at the start of next month.
