Nokia Pulse is a social application that first launched back at the start of last year and is already available on Android , Windows Phone 7 iOS devices. The good news is that Nokia have now released a beta version for Windows Phone 8.
Nokia Pulse essentially aims to bring location-based data to your everyday communication. The application enables you to send messages which are automatically tagged with your location, so you can easily let others know exactly where you are and what your doing.
Nokia's application can also be used to tag your favourite places, to find nearby locations and to access turn-by-turn navigation thanks to Nokia Maps integration. This makes it a very useful application to communicate with friends and family because they can always be kept up to date on what your doing and where you are.
Those worried about sharing their location and private information with others will be pleased to know that it's controlled by groups. So you'll only share information and your location with people in groups you've created.
Those interested in sharing messages, photos and locations with their favourite social network will be pleased to hear that Nokia Plus has both Twitter and Facebook integration. The new version fo Windows Phone 8 also enables users to use photos from Pulse on their Live Tile home-screen.
