Nokia unveiled the Lumia 510 back in October and it's since become to buy in India, China, South America and a number of other Asia-Pacific countries. The smartphone isn't yet available in the UK , but that now looks set to change !
Earlier today the Nokia Lumia 510 appeared on Phone 4u's "Coming Soon" page, but has since been removed. However, in response to the leak Nokia have confirmed that the affordable Windows smartphone will be coming to the UK.
Nokia's Lumia 510 runs on Windows Phone 7.5, as opposed to Windows Phone 8 which features on it's new Lumia smartphones. The major benefit of the inclusion of the older version of the OS is that it'll be very cheap with the priced expected to come in around £100.
What specification does the Nokia Lumia 510 have ?
As you'd expect for a smartphone likely to be priced at around £100 the specification of the Lumia 510 isn't cutting-edge. However, it does have a 4 inch touch-screen running at a resolution of 800*480 pixels and a 5 mega-pixel camera.
One area where Nokia have kept costs down is the power because the Lumia 510 is powered by a Snapdragon 800 Mhz processor and has just 256MB of RAM. While onboard memory comes in at 4GB , but don't worry because you'll also get 7GB of cloud-based storage included.
The version of the Lumia 510 is expected to be instantly upgradable to Windows Phone 7.8 which will bring a load of new features to the smartphone. However, this is yet to be confirmed by Nokia themselves.
As soon as 3G hear more about the UK launch of the Lumia 510 you'll be the first to know !
