Rumours have been circulating for some time about Apple's next iPhone and we've now got some fresh information to add into the mix.
MacRumours have highlighted a report by Jeffries analyst Peter Misek who claims that Apple's iPhone 5S will land in June or July. He added that production is expected to start in March to ensure Apple have enough devices ready for the summer launch.
In the past we've been unsure whether the next iPhone would be the iPhone 5S or the iPhone 6. This latest information suggests it'll be the iPhone 5S , which will be updated version the iPhone 5. Assuming the information proves correct it looks like we'll have to wait till next year for the completely new iPhone 6 design.
Misek also added that two iPhone prototypes are currently doing the rounds with one of them thought to be of the new affordable iPhone. The affordable iPhone will be a toned-down version of the iPhone 5 , although at this time we're not sure what it'll be called.
Apparently, the affordable iPhone will be made from plastic and is likely to feature a 4 inch non-Retina display and won't support 4G LTE. We expect sacrifices will also be made when it comes to the processor and camera which is expected to reduce the price to about £250.
3G has heard so many rumours about the next iPhone and the affordable iPhone, or iPhone Mini, and to be honest we're none the wiser on what to expect. Whatever, the case we can be sure that another iPhone will be on the market before the of 2013 !
