Apple are rumoured to be unveiling two new iPad models in March of this year according to information being reported online.
The fresh rumours , originating from AppleInsider, suggest that both the iPad 5 and the iPad Mini 2 will be unveiled by Apple in March. Industry sources suggest that Apple have now banished the annual updates of their iPad in favour of refreshing them more often.
Apple launched the iPad 4 just 7 months after the New iPad which led to unrest from consumers who were unhappy that there devices was replaced after such a short time. However, it looks like Apple are now going to replace the iPad 4 after a similarly short period of time.
So what do we know about the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 ?
The iPad 5 is rumoured to be both thinner and lighter than the previous model, while it's also expected to feature a new A6X processor and to include Apple's new Lightning chip. Previously, we've also heard that the iPad 5 will have an even higher resolution Retina display.
The new iPad Mini 2 is expected to be more a refresh of the iPad Mini which will have upgraded components, likely to be a faster processor and an improved camera. So far we havn't heard anything about an improved display, which is disappointing because the majority of complaints about the iPad Mini have been that lacks a HD Retina display.
