The Acer Liquid E1 is a mid-range smartphone that comes pre-loaded with Android Jelly Bean. Acer officially unveiled the mobile in China and it's expected to be showcased in Europe at next months Mobile World Congress.
The Acer Liquid E1 has a typical mid-range specification including a 4.5 inch touch-screen that runs at a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. While, the smartphone has dimensions of 132 x 68.5 x 9.9 mm and weighs just 130g.
Acer's smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and has 1GB of RAM, which is pretty standard for a mid-range device. On-board memory comes in at 4GB which can be expanded using microSD cards.
Acer's Liquid E1 also has a 5 mega-pixel rear-facing camera and a front-facing 0.3 mega-pixel snapper for vdeo calling. Other features include a 1,760mAh battery, FM radio and support for 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth.
Acer are expected to showcase the Liquid E1 at this years Mobile World Congress which takes place in Barcelona next month. We expect the smartphone to land shortly after with the start of March looking the most likely launch date.
We expect the Acer Liquid E1 to cost between £150 and £200, but we'll have to wait for Acer to offically confirm the information.
