Use Your iPad As A Sky Remote !

Sky have announced that they'll be releasing an application which will enable iPad owners to use their tablet as a Sky+ remote.
The application will support all the features you'd expect including viewing the guide, changing channel and pausing live TV.
However , whats even more interesting is that Sky have announced that they'll making Sky TV a social experience.
The social TV experience is made possible by using a second screen to supplement your TV . This seems to be the next big thing in TV at the moment and Sky are jumping on-board.
Sky have partnered with Zeebox who produce second-screen technology which will be integrated into Sky's Sky+ and Sky Go applications. You will then be able to interact with social networks while watching your TV show and share your views with others.
You'll also be able to view bonus content and also use the second screen, such as your tablet, to view the guide without interfering with the main screen.
Sky are planning to release the technology later this year and as soon as 3G hears anymore we'll let you know.
