Swype Coming Soon To Ice Cream Sandwich
Android Ice Cream Sandwich, Swype
Swype have announced on their Twitter account that their application will be coming to Android Ice Cream Sandwich shortly.
Over the coming months a huge number of smartphones will be updated to Ice Cream Sandwich, so the developers need to get a groove-on updating their applications.
The Swype application is currently going through final testing and tweaking , so it should be available in the next couple of weeks. This is good news for those lucky enough to have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
For those who've never come across Swype it's an application that improves text-input on touch-screen devices. With Swype you can slide your finger over all the letters in a word and when you remove your finger a new word will start. This might not seem that great without using it , but believe us it saves a lot of time.
Ever since the folks at 3G tried Swype it's one of the first applications we install when we get a new smartphone.
