The classic game Soul Calibur has been around for years since it first launched on the Dreamcast way back when. We've now heard news that a version will be coming to the iPad and iPhone this month !

The game made by Namco Bandai and is a classic "Beat Em Up" game with a broad character set all with their own deadly weapons. A new version of the game is launching next month for PS3 and XBOX (Soul Calibur V) , so it makes sense to launch an iOS version at the same time.

All 19 characters from the original game are included on the iPhone version and you'll get a vast number of game modes including Arcade Battle, Time Trial, Survival, Practise and Museum mode.

The iOS version of Soul Calibur is expected to launch on January 19th , but we're not sure what price it'll be. Once 3G hears anymore about the game you'll be the first to know.
