Sony Xperia S - Processor Questions Answered !
The Sony Xperia S is the first true Sony smartphone and the first Xperia mobile to have a dual-core processor.
In the past Sony Ericsson (now Sony) have always used single-core Snapdragon processors, but in the next-gen Xperia S they've included a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor.
In the video above , filmed at CES 2012, Stephen Sneeden . who is a product expert at Sony , discusses the impact the new processor will have on the Xperia S's peformance .
As you'd expect you'll get a significant improvement in speed , which becomes even more important when running Android Ice Cream Sandwich, which will come pre-installed on the Xperia S.
The Xperia S also has a 4.3 inch Mobile Bravia touch-screen running at 1280*720 resolution (720p), a 12 mega-pixel camera with Exmor Technology, 32GB of memory and supports 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC.
The Sony Xperia S will launch in March and will be available from Three and O2. We don't yet have the price of the smartphone, but as soon as we hear anything we'll let you know.
