Shazam have long been associated with music identification, but they've now diversified by launching a music player for Apple iOS devices.

Shazam is hoping that people choose to use its music player over Apple's built-in music application. In order for this to happen Shazam Player needs to have some great features and it doesn't disappoint.

The Shazam Player incorporates "Lyric Mode" which displays the words for songs on your device's display while they play. This is a feature first seen in Shazam's Encore music identification service and it's a very cool feature.

With Shazam Player you can also search Youtube videos and share the song your currently playing with Twitter or Facebook. You can also mark your tracks as "good or bad" , which will determine how often they are played when you use the applications shuffle feature.
