Rumours have suggested that Samsung will be unveiling the Samsung Galaxy SIII alongside the Galaxy Tab 2 at the Mobile World Congress , which takes place in a couple of weeks.

Now we've heard about another new device that could well make an appearance, which is the Samsung Galaxy S Advance.

The Samsung Galaxy S Advance is a beefed up version of the original Galaxy S. It'll have a 4 inch Super AMOLED touch-screen (800*480p) and will be powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor, which is a vast improvement on the original Galaxy S.

Other features of the Galaxy S Advance include a 5 mega-pixel camera with LED flash and 6GB of on-board memory. It'll launch on Android Gingerbread, which is disappointing, but it's possible it'll be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich sometime in the future.

The Samsung Galaxy S Advance isn't going to be the Samsung device grabbing the headlines at MWC, but 3G thinks it offers an affordable alternative to the Galaxy SII/SIII.
