Polaroid have unveiled a new "smart camera" at CES 2012 in Las Vegas.
The Polaroid SC1630 is effectively a camera with phone capabilities rather than the other way around.
The camera included is a massive 16 mega-pixels and comes with a 3* optical zoom. The optical zoom has a f3.1-f5.6 aperture , shutter speeds up to 1/1400 and ISO adjustability of 3200.
As you'd expect it comes with a dedicated photo editing application , so you can tweak all your photos on the move. While your photos can be stored on the 32GB microSD card which comes with the device.
The Polaroid SC1630 has a 3.2 inch touch-screen running at a resolution of 800*480 pixels and comes with Android Gingerbread. It also supports both 3G and WiFi , so you'll be able to browse the internet and make calls.
The Polaroid SC1630 has only been confirmed for the US where it'll cost $299 (£199), which seems like a reasonable price. We'll have to wait and see whether the unique device comes to the UK.
