The Nokia Lumia 900 was announced earlier this month at CES in Las Vegas. However, until now we havn't had any news about a UK launch,  but now the Carphone Warehouse have added the Windows smartphone to its site with the launch date listed as June.

The Nokia Lumia 900 will launch with LTE (4G) support in the US, which is yet to be available in the UK , so we're likely to see a modified version launching here. We expect the 4G support to be omitted for the UK launch, but the rest of the smartphone should be the same.

The Lumia 900 is the highest in Nokia's Windows Phone range and has a great specification which includes a 4.3 inch AMOLED touch-screen (800*480p). Powering the smartphone is a 1.4 Ghz dual-core processor and it has 16GB of on-board memory.

The 8 mega-pixel camera present on the Lumia 900 isn't too shabby either, while the 1 mega-pixel front-facing camera is perfect for video-calling. It runs on Windows Phone Mango, which is the latest and greatest version of Microsoft's mobile operating system.
