The Nokia Lumia 710 is due to launch in the UK on February 1st and will be available from both Three and Orange.

We don't yet have any details about the cost of the Lumia 710, but we do know it'll be more affordable than the Lumia 800.

The Lumia 710 is the second Windows smartphone that Nokia will release and it borrows a lot of its specification from the Lumia 800. It's powered by the same 1.4 Ghz processor and also has 512MB of RAM, while on-board memory weighs in at 8GB.

The main area of sacrifice compared to the Lumia 800 is the touch-screen which is a WVGA display, rather than the Lumia 800's Super AMOLED touch-screen. The camera is also reduced from 8 mega-pixels down to 5 mega-pixels.

However, overall we think its still a great smartphone and it should come at a great price , which will make it more accessible to a wider market. Nokia might be hoping to attract the younger market with the Lumia 710, which is backed up the inclusion of interchangeable back covers.
