Nissan To Launch Self-Repairing iPhone Case
![]() |
Nissan are normally associated with the car industry where they produce the amazing Nissan GTR.
However, they have now announced that they are bringing some of their technology to the mobile industry. Nissan are going to launch an Apple iPhone case which will incorporate its "Scratch Shield" technology.
Scratch shield is a prototype coating that automatically repairs any scratches or cracks in the paint. A small surface scratch can repair itself in a day, while deep ones will take around week before they magically disappear entirely.
The technology sounds great and not only would it be good on cases , but also coated on all mobiles when they are manufactured. However, for the moment the technology is still being tested and the iPhone cases are due to be released for beta testing very soon.
Once 3G hears anything more about Nissan's Apple iPhone case or the use of "Scratch Shield" technology we'll let you know.
