The Motorola MOTOLUXE was announced at CES at the beginning of the month and we've now got news of its release date and price.

Online retailer "Unlock Mobiles" has added the MOTOLUXE to its store with the release date listed as the 20th February. They've also listed the price at £250, which puts it firmly in the mid-range category.

The Motorola MOTOLUXE is a touch-screen smartphone aimed at the younger , cooler crowd. It features a 4 inch touch-screen (480*864 pixels) and has an 8 mega-pixel camera. The processor is just 800Mhz, but that's what makes it more affordable than other smartphones.

The MOTOLUXE will launch running on Android Gingerbread and we're not sure whether the specification will allow it to be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich.
