HTC Edge With Quad-Core Processor To Land At MWC
![]() |
Earlier this month we brought you news that the HTC Edge would be showcased at the Mobile World Congress next month.
New information has backed up that previous leak and it looks pretty likely that HTC will unveil the quad-core HTC Edge next month. The information was confirmed by the editor of website Mobile Review, who have a long history of posting reliable leaks.
The HTC Edge is thought to be powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. The Tegra 3 processor is an amazing piece of kit because it doubles the speed, while also improving power consumption when compared to the Tegra 2 dual-core chip.
The Edge will also have a 4.7 inch touch-screen and comes with 1GB of RAM , as well as 32GB of on-board memory. It also comes with an 8 mega-pixel camera and Beats Audio technology.
We're so excited about the HTC Edge, because it has a truly stunning specification and will run on the amazing Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Once the folks at 3G hear even the slightest snippet of information about the HTC Edge we'll let you know.
