The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was unveiled at MWC last year alongside the Samsung Galaxy SII . This year its long been rumoured that Samsung will showcase a new Galaxy Tab and the Galaxy SIII at the MWC.

New information obtained by Taylor Wimberly from Androidandme suggests that a new Galaxy Tab will indeed be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress next month. Even better news is that he managed to see the device lying around Samsung's LSI at CES and can offer some details about its specification.

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab (Galaxy Tab 2 ?) will feature a dual-core 2GHz processor.  Apparently, it'll incorporate the new Exynos 5250 chip which features Intel's Cortex A-15 CPU core.

Apparently, the new Galaxy Tab will also have a large-screen ,  which is thought to be 11.6 inches in size. However, the really amazing thing about the screen is the expected resolution,  which will come in at 2560*1600 pixels.

If that screen resolution proves correct it means that the device will have a higher resolution than full HD LCD's , which will provide amazing clarity. The only other information we know about the new Galaxy Tab is that it will run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

Once 3G hears anything more about the new Galaxy Tab or any other Samsung products that will be unveiled at MWC we'll let you know.
