Acer has been showcasing the Acer Iconia Tab A700 at CES 2012, which is currently taking place in Las Vegas.

The Iconia Tab A700 sets new tablet standards because it comes with an amazing Tegra 3 quad-core processor running at 1.3 GHz.  With the Tegra 3 processor you benefit from a vast improvement in performance and  reduction in power consumption compared to previous Tegra processors.

The 10.1 inch touch-screen is truly spectacular because it runs at a resolution of 1920*1200 pixels , which means it supports full 1080p videos. Browsing on the device will also be fantastic and it'll make gaming a pure joy.

The Iconia Tab A700 has 1GB of RAM , a 5 mega-pixel camera and a front-facing HD camera which can be used for video-calling. Importantly it runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, so you can instantly enjoy the latest software.

The Acer Iconia Tab A700 is due to launch in the second quarter of 2012 and 3G is really excited about getting our hands on it.
