Tiny Top Ups from Orange

Orange UK is introducing a new variation of its Pay As You Go mobile phone plan. The new option is called "Tiny Top Ups" and offers the chance to get a top up even if you only have 10p on you. The new service is aimed at the youth market and customers who may be finding money tight as we head into 2011.

Orange say that according to a recent research study they conducted, they found that over 25% of 18-24 year olds carried less than one pound with them. They also learnt that over 23% wait for pay day to pay for a top up.

Pippa Dunn, VP of Propositions for Orange said: 'Tiny Top Ups make it easier for Orange pay-as-you-go customers to top up using their loose change. It's a big change to your small change; and with many people managing their personal finances more closely than ever, Tiny Top Ups will help people who are watching their pennies to stay in touch.'

There is also a competition to launch Tiny Top Ups. You guess how many 10p pieces there are in the massive tube above. Looks like  a lot and if you win you keep the tube and coins.. You can enter here :-
