Three Announce Wildfire Android Update Coming This Month

Three has today confirmed via Twitter that the HTC Wildfire will be updated to Android 2.2 this month. The update , which launched on T-Mobile and Vodafone late last year, will be released at the end of January.
Android 2.2 is always a welcome update because it adds a number of excellent features including the ability to use your mobile to create a Wi-Fi hotspot, full Adobe Flash support and the ability to install applications on a microSD card.
The HTC Wildfire is a great value Android handset that features a 3.2 inch touch-screen and 5 mega-pixel camera with LED flash. It is available in a choice of either red or black.
The HTC Wildfire is available on Three free from contracts starting at just £20 a month. The One Plan costs just £27 a month which gets you 5000 texts, 2000 minutes and "all-you-can-eat" Data. Alternatively you can get it on Pay As You Go For £189.99.
