Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Launching In February

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be launching in the UK on the 19th February, if the date Play.com has on its site is correct.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 runs on the Android operating system, although it seems it will run on the older version Android 1.6.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 has a massive 4 inch capacitive touch-screen, which runs at 480 * 854. It runs on the same Snapdragon 1GHZ processor that’s inside the Google Nexus One, which ensures rapid loading times and smooth performance.

The Xperia X10 also comes with 1GB of internal memory and microSD support for up to 16GB of additional storage. The 8 megapixel camera the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 offers has auto focus, image stabilisation, face and smile recognition and an LED flash.

Sony Ericsson have been having some problems of late with the Satio having software problems and the Xperia X2 being dropped by Vodafone, so they’ll hope the Xperia X2 signals a change in fortunes.

Once we get confirmation of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 launch date we’ll be sure to let you know.
