Ovi Maps Enables You To Share Your Location On Facebook

The latest version of Ovi Maps has a new functionality for all the social networks nuts out there.
You can now share your physical location with your friends on Facebook, which is something most people would prefer to keep private. However, we can see some uses for it. If your at the Take That concert in Wembley stadium you can let all your rugby teammates know that your there.
It’s easy to share your location as the function has a shortcut on the application homescreen and you can also add a widget to your desktop to share it from your home-screen directly.
Additionally, if that isn’t enough alone you can add a photo to the location so everybody can see what you can.
Nokia recently made their Ovi Maps software free for everyone, which is still a move that’s shaken up the mobile navigation world with many people wondering how they can turn a profit from the offering.
However, we guess Nokia is in it for the long run and will hope it will lead to more Nokia mobiles being sold, advertising revenue and they can add premium features at a later date.
