UK : The Android Operating system has been in the spotlight of late with the announcement of the Google Nexus One.

So we thought it a good idea to bring you news of an update for Facebook for Android mobiles.

The new version of Facebook enables you to browse friends and photo albums inside the application. The older version of the Facebook application for Android kicked you out into your browser when you did anything besides looking at your own news feed, which I’m sure you’ll agree, is quite limited.

The new version also enables you to share photos easily, add comments and to zoom on photos and text so you can see them more clearly.

However, there is still potential for improvement in the application as you still can’t access your message inbox !
