Siemens Lands 3G Contract In Poland

Europe : The biggest mobile operator in Poland, Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa ( PTC ) has awraded Siemens AG the contract to supply its 3G wireless network. Inset above some of the PTC staff gather after the news of Siemens win.

After carrying out technical, organisational and economic analysis of bids from companies, Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa has chosen Siemens Polska as the supplier of the advanced UMTS technology which will be implemented as a priority in the Warsaw region. Similar procedures will be applied in the future while choosing suppliers for network development in other cities.
