Samsung confirm which of its Galaxy devices will get Android KitKat

Android KitKat

Samsung in the US have confirmed which of its current Samsung Galaxy range will be updated to Android KitKat (4.4).  It's pretty safe to assume that the US rollout of Android KitKat will be mirrored in other regions across the world.

The list makes for bad reading for those with the Samsung Galaxy SII and the original Galaxy Note, who'll miss out on the Chocolate-themed update. But all of the other devices you'd expect are present and correct.

No dates were given for the release of Android KitKat to the devices listed. However, the Galaxy Note 3 has already got Android KitKat in selected markets and the rollout for the Galaxy S4 has now officially begun.
