First look at the LG G2 mini, well the back of it anyway
LG have announced that they are joining the "mini" brigade with the LG G2 mini adding that it will be formally unveiled at this month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in just under two weeks time.
The current trend when you have a great smartphone like the LG G2 is to follow it up with a mini or compact version. Other great smartphones that have been downsized include the Sony Xperia Z1, the Galaxy S4 and of course the HTC One.
The LG G2 mini can be seen in the photo above, well the rear of it anyway, alongside the G2.
LG did not provide any details for the specification of the G2 mini but a number of leaks have suggested that the mini will be shipped with Android 4.4 KitKat and come with a 4.3 inch display with a lower 960 x 540 pixel resolution, and a ppi of 256.15.
The processing power is reported to come via its 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor with 2GB of RAM. It will be 4G compatible.
When 3G carried out its LG G2 review, our reviewer awarded a rating of 4.5 out of 5 so we eagerly wait to get our hands on the G2 mini to see how well it fares against its mini sized competitors.
