The Sony Xperia E was unveiled back at the start of December and the smartphone is already available to buy in selected markets. However, it's still yet to become available in the UK , but thankfully that's about to change.
O2 have confirmed they will be stocking the Xperia E with the mobile due to land in stores in March. That's as precise as we can be at the moment and unfortunately we don't have any prices for Sony's smartphone.
Sony's Xperia E is an affordable Android Jelly Bean smartphone that has been engineered for simplicity. Like all Sony devices it has a stylish design , while the compact size will suit those disenchanted by over-sized premium smartphones.
The Xperia E has a 3.5 inch touch-screen running at 480*320 pixels which reflects the smartphone's affordable price-point. A 1 Ghz processor powers the mobile which is backed up by 512MB of RAM, while onboard memory weighs in at 4GB and can be expanded using microSD cards.
Even though the smartphone is affordable it does come with some excellent features including support for HD voice-calling and an XLoud speaker. Additionally, it comes with a 3.2 mega-pixel camera and support for 3G, WiFi and NFC.
3G hope to review Sony's Xperia E very soon so keep posted to find out how Sony's affordable Android Jelly Bean smartphone fares.
