Earlier this month we reported that Samsung would unveil the Samsung Galaxy S4 at a press event on March 14th. Samsung have now confirmed they'll be holding an "Unpacked" event in New York on that date.
The Korean company didn't confirm that they'd unveil the Galaxy S4 directly , but on their Twitter they attached the tag-line "Ready 4 The show?" . This not-so-subtle hint is the confirmation we've been waiting for and we can't wait to find out all about the Galaxy S4.
Rumours have already given us a good idea of what to expect from Samsung's Galaxy S4. So far we've heard that it'll have a 4.99 inch Super AMOLED touch-screen (1920*1080 pixels) and will be powered by an Exynos 5 Octa-core processor and have a whopping 2GB of RAM.
Samsung's smartphone is expected to come pre-loaded with Android Key Lime Pie and will have a staggering 13 mega-pixel camera. The camera is widely thought to come with a new feature called "Samsung Orb" which will enable users to take 360 panoramic shots.
As you'd expect from a next-gen smartphone it supports all the latest in mobile connectivity including 4G, 3G, NFC, WiFi and Bluetooth. We'll have to wait to find out more about the Galaxy S4's software features but we're sure Samsung has some amazing new technology to showcase.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 might not be the only new device unveiled at the "Unpacked" event because we've heard they'll also unveil the Galaxy S4 Mini and a Galaxy Active smartwatch accessory at the same time. However, we'll just have to wait see if this information proves correct !
3G will be bringing you all the news from Samsung's Unpacked Event next month and we'll continue to bring you any fresh information that surfaces prior to the Galaxy S4's official launch.< Back
