Nokia Lumia Tablet - New Image Confirms Existence Of Nokia's Windows 8 Tablet

Nokia Lumia Tablet

We first heard about the potential launch of a Nokia Tablet all the way back in 2011. At the end of last year new rumours surfaced suggesting that Nokia would launch a Lumia Tablet running Windows 8 this year.

Now fresh information has surfaced giving us the biggest indication so far that Nokia will indeed launch a Lumia Tablet this year. Nokia recently held a launch event for the Lumia 620 in Pakistan where they displayed an image of a device that looks suspiciously like a Lumia tablet.

The image, which can be viewed above, shows a tablet alongside a Lumia smartphone and television.  We presume the device pictured is Nokia's first Lumia Tablet and encouragingly the tablets display shows the Windows 8 home-screen.

Previous information has suggested that Nokia will launch a Lumia Tablet running Windows Phone 8 this year. The tablet is thought to come with a 10 inch touch-screen and is expected to be showcased at this years Mobile World Congress which begins at the end of this month.

Nokia's Windows 8 Lumia smartphones have impressed us and we're pretty excited about the potential launch of a Lumia Tablet. We hope we'll be reporting on Nokia's Lumia Tablet at MWC and as soon as we hear anything more you'll be the first to know.
