Nokia have launched numerous Asha devices in the past , but the freshly unveiled Asha 310 is their first dual-SIM smartphone with WiFi support. This makes the Nokia Asha 310 the smart choice for those with multiple SIMs who also want to browse the internet.
The Nokia Asha 310 includes " Easy Swap Dual SIM technology" which enables a second-SIM to be inserted into a side-slot, while the primary SIM remains behind the battery. Additionally, you can store profiles for up to five SIM-cards , as well as being able to choose SIM-cards for voice, texts and data.
Nokia have included a whole host of software on the Series-40 Asha 310 including pre-loaded Twitter and Facebook applications, while you can chat with friends thanks to the inclusion of the eBuddy application.
Nokia Maps and Nokia Nearby also come pre-loaded on the smartphone, while you also get access to free 40 EA mobile games and an exclusive Red-Bull application. What about the specification of the Nokia Asha 310 ?
Well, the Nokia Asha 310's specification isn't cutting edge , but that's reflected in the $100 price-point. You do get a 3 inch capacitive touch-screen (400*240 pixels) , while the smartphone comes with 4GB of onboard memory which can be expanded by another 32GB thanks to microSD support.
The Asha 310 also has a 2 mega-pixel camera and will be available in a choice of black, white and golden light. The smartphone is set to launch in Asia, India, the Middle East, Africa and Brazil in the first quarter of this year.
At the current time we have no news on whether the Nokia Asha 310 will launch in the UK. However, as soon as we get more information you'll be the first to know.
