Google have announced that they've begun rolling out Android 4.2.2 to some of its Nexus branded devices. Initially, the Google Nexus 7, Google Nexus 10 and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus can be updated to the latest version of Android Jelly Bean.

One of the major benefits of buying one of Google's branded devices is that your guaranteed to be one of the first to get the latest Android update. Google Nexus 7 (pictured above) , Nexus 10 and Samsung Galaxy Nexus owners are now reaping the rewards because Android 4.2.2 is available to download for their devices right now.

The  new version of Android Jelly Bean is a minor update and Google hasn't released details on exactly what changes it's implemented. The only thing confirmed is that you'll now be able to toggle WiFi and Bluetooth by long pressing on the Quick Settings menu.

Android 4.2.2 is also sure to include a number of bug and security fixes which is why we recommend users to install the update. As always we advise you to backup your settings and data before updating your device.

As soon as 3G get more information about the Android 4.2.2 we'll be sure to bring you all the details.
