Sony have unveiled the next two smartphones in its NXT series , which incorporate the best of Sony's technology and premium entertainment features.
The first NXT smartphone was the Sony Xperia S and the two new smartphones also incorporate the same design including the "transparent element", which is band that encircles the base of the mobile.
Both new smartphones also feature a Mobile Bravia display meaning they have amazing clarity and colour reproduction in all light conditions. They also both come with 1 GHz dual-core processors and will ship running on Android Gingerbread, which will be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich after launch.

The 4 inch Mobile Bravia touch-screen has WhiteMagic technology which ensures the screen is visible in all light conditions. Furthermore, it automatically adjusts the display's brightness to match the surrounds which also saves power !
The Xperia P can also be docked in an exclusive docking-station which turns the smartphone into an entertainment hub which can be linked to multiple displays. You can also use a TV remote to browse your smartphones media library and use a wireless keyboard and mouse when the phone is docked.
The Sony Xperia P is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor, has an 8 mega-pixel camera, 16GB of onboard memory and supports WiFi, 3G, NFC and Easy HDMI. The Sony Xperia P will launch in the second quarter of 2012 and as soon as we get more details we'll let you know.
Sony Xperia U
