Samsung have unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.2 at the Mobile World Congress which is currently taking place in Barcelona.
The Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.2 is an Android powered media player that can be used as a music player or to play games. Effectively it is Samsung's answer to Apple's iPod .
The Galaxy S WiFi 4.2 runs on Android Honeycomb (4.2) which enables you to download applications from the Android Market using a WiFi network. It also comes loaded with Samsung's Hubs including the Games Hub and it comes pre-installed with Fifa 11 and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit.
Music and video playback is also a huge priority as you'd expect and the Galaxy S WiFi 4.2 supports a whole host of codecs including MP3, AAC, AVI, 3GP, WMV and much much more. When gaming you take advantage of the device's compass, gyroscope and accelerometer.
The Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.2 has a 1 GHz processor, 512MB of RAM and is available in a choice of 8 or 16GB of on-board memory. We don't have a price or release date for the device, but once we do we'll let you know.
