Nokia 803 The Last Symbian Smartphone ?
![]() |
Could Nokia be launching a new Symbian smartphone even after ditching the platform in favour of Windows Phone ?
According to new information it looks they'll be doing just that. The Nokia 803 is a new smartphone that is expected to launch later this year and will run on the Symbian Belle operating system.
The Nokia 803 has appeared online in a number of leaks over the last couple of months and this latest one comes thanks to BGR, who got news about the mobile from a trusted source.
If the source proves correct then the Nokia Lumia 803 will have a 4 inch AMOLED touch-screen , NFC support, HDMI-out and DLNA streaming. It'll also have "one of the biggest cameras seen on any mobile", which could be a 12 mega-pixel camera with an optical zoom.
We'll just have to wait and see if Nokia really are going to launch a new Symbian smartphone, but the evidence is stacking up and 3G's instincts say they will !
