Motorola Gleam+

Motorola are bringing back the clamshell/flip phone when they launch the Motorola Gleam+ next month across Europe.

Once upon a time, about 10 years ago, flip phones were all the rage with every business executive quickly snapping closed their smartphone to signify the end of an important call. There is definitely something rewarding about using a flipphone, but they do make mobiles quite a bit thicker than we've come to expect in recent times.

The Motorola Gleam+ is a throwback in more ways than one, because it not only adopts the clam-shell mobile but has a specification from the past. However, when you consider it comes in at around £80 you can be more forgiving.

The design of the Gleam+ is actually very stylish and we can see it selling well with women and the younger teen crowd.

The Motorola Gleam+ has a 2.8 inch LCD display, 2 mega-pixel camera, 50MB of on-board memory which can be expanded using microSD cards and Bluetooth connectivity. The Motorola Gleam+ will launch in March and once we hear anymore about it we'll let you know.
