RIM have announced that they are offering a free Blackberry Playbook to any developers who submit an Android application for the Blackberry Playbook to Blackberry App World.

Last month RIM announced that the Blackberry Playbook 2.0 update would enable Android applications to easily be ported to their flagship tablet.

Developers who submit applications before February 14th will receive a free 16GB Blackberry Playbook if their applications meets RIM's App World Vendor Guidelines. Developers can get more deals about the offer by clicking here.

This is a great incentive for developers and a smart move by RIM , which will bring many applications to their platform and bring in good publicity for the company, which is needed after the terrible time they had last year with the server crashes !
