RIM have released a new advert promoting both the Blackberry Bold 9790 and the Bold 9900.

Both smartphones are promoted together because they have very similar specifications with both featuring a QWERTY keyboard and a touch-screen. The video concentrates on the user-interface, which is amazing for texting, emailing and web-browsing !

The Bold 9790 and Bold 9900 both also run on Blackberry 7 , which is the latest version of RIM's operating system. The difference between the two devices is that the Bold 9900 is a larger smartphone that has a bigger touch-screen. The Bold 9900's touch-screen comes in at 2.8 inches , while the 9790 has a 2.4 inch display.

Both smartphones have a 1 Ghz processor which works with 768MB of RAM to provide decent power. Furthermore, they both have 8GB of on-board memory , a 5 mega-pixel camera and support for NFC, WiFi and 3G.

The Blackberry Bold 9790 is available free from £31 a month on Vodafone, while you have to pay £41 a month to get the Bold 9900 free.
