The list above shows the top 10 handsets tracked by live sales and searches on uSwitch.com.

The details released by uSwitch are part of its "Mobile Tracker" report and reveal some interesting stats of how things may well be  panning out in the very competitive smartphone market.

The iPhone has slipped from third position down to sixth position and uSwitch say that its take-up could be moving downwards. In fact, HTC have now taken the top three positions in the "Mobile Tracker" top ten listings.

The other highlight from uSwitch is that 50% of the best selling handsets have Google Android on-board. The BlackBerry Curve and the Samsung Galaxy S also continue to do well.

uSwitch identified the HTC Wildfire as the biggest climber and the Apple iPhone as the biggest faller.
