Samsung Galaxy S Getting Android 2.3

Knowyourmobile is reporting that the Samsung Galaxy S will be updated to Android 2.3 in March. The news comes thanks to Samsungs Official Hub and is great news for owners of the best-selling Galaxy S.
The upgrade to Android 2.3 adds support for NFC, which enables contact-less payments using your mobile. Additionally , it includes a number of other improvements including a new user-interface, download manager and improved text input.
One thing that hasn't been made clear is whether the update will support Samsung's TouchWiz UI.
The Samsung Galaxy S is available to buy on great value deals these days and with the latest Android version now available you have even more reason to pick one up.
