Nokia Bubbles is a new and fun way to provide a shortcut to stuff on your mobile. Nokia Labs has developed the experimental program as a potential new type of user interface. A video of Nokia Bubbles is below.

When your phone is in sleep mode and you press the the "Apps" key a new screen will appear instead of the black one with the clock and unlock buttons. For the new screen, Nokia Labs has put icons into bubbles that float around the screen. Very clever.

So if you want to unlock your phone then you would drag the key bubble and put it into the lock bubble. This is shown in the video below.

Unlock the phone

View new messages

View/Respond to missed calls

Control the music player

Control the FM radio

Change profile (profile timing also supported)

Call/Message your three best friends

Activate the backlight to use as a flashlight

Show your current location using Ovi Maps

Change the background of the Bubbles screenDisplay when battery needs charging

Display statistics about bubble speed and distance (just for fun)
