In many respects Tetris Revolution doesn’t bring anything new to the classic Russian puzzle game. But what it does deliver is a sterling version of the retro phenomenon in every respect.

It also packs in 12 additional game modes, and while they’re not all a tremendous success, some of the light variations are just what it needs to give Tetris a well-earned refresh. If you’ve already got a recent version, there’s probably no need to upgrade, but otherwise Tetris Revolution is about the best mobile conversion currently available.
