The Samsung Wave was announced this month but we here at 3G.co.uk did not pick up on the fact that the Samsung Wave will be the first mobile phone in the world to benefit from the latest version of Picsel File Viewer.

The Picsel File Viewer will enable the Samsung Wave as a “mobile office” and provide a valuable addition to the Sansung Bada operating platform. Find out more about the Samsung Wave here.

The Picsel File Viewer supports Microsoft Office ( Power Point, Excel and Word ) as well as Adobe Images, Text and PDF. The Zoom and Pan Interface within Picsel File Viewer helps users when they have smaller screens on their mobile phones.

New features added to Picsel File Viewer available with the Samsung Wave include:

- Faster panning and zooming - improved response times for both panning and zooming to enable faster page navigation.
- Continuous page scrolling - enabling inertia for faster navigation through documents.

- Higher quality screen update - continuous high quality page rendering, nullifying requirement for fuzzy redraw while users navigate the page.
- Multiple page views - allowing more than one page to be displayed on screen at any one time, aiding more coherent and informative document navigation.
