Samsung have announced the Samsung M100S smart-phone, which is surprising as the Mobile World Congress is only a week away.

The Samsung M100S will run on the Android 2.1 mobile operating system, which is the latest version of Google’s mobile OS.

It will feature a 3.7 inch AMOLED touch-screen, which will utilise Samsung TouchWiz user interface. An 800 MHz processor will power the Samsung M100S, which enable it to run smoothly with Android 2.1.

In terms of connectivity the Samsung M100S will support both Wi-Fi and 3G, meaning you’ll always have access to the internet. A 5 megapixel camera is also present, that doubles as a HD video recording device.

The Samsung M100S is due to launch in Korea in the next month and will launch globally at a later date.
