HTC have announced two new mobiles running on an enhance version of its HTC Sense interface.
The new version of HTC Sense features a new widget called HTC Friend Stream which brings all your social network updates into one list which makes it even easier to keep tabs on your friends. You can also create groups of friends or colleagues so you can keep up to date with all knowledge of one group. Additional improvements include browser, email and application updates, as well as newsreader application.
The first new mobile to run on the new HTC Sense interface is the HTC
Legend (pictured above) . The HTC
Legend features a 3.2 inch screen and an optical joystick which
is surrounded by a narrow button for improving usability. It features a
unique design because it’s made from one single aluminum block, which
provides a smooth, continuous surface.
The HTC Legend will be available across Europe on Vodafone from April.
The second mobile to be confirmed is the HTC Desire (pictured above) , which is an almost identical mobile to the Google Nexus One. It features the same 3.7 inch touch-screen which is perfect for viewing pictures, browsing the internet or viewing multimedia content.
The HTC Desire also runs on the same 1GHz
snapdragon processor that ensures it runs rapidly and also can handle
multiple tasks at once. An optical joystick is also present for even
more fluid navigation and the device is Adobe Flash 10.1 ready.
The HTC Desire will launch in the second quarter
of 2010 in Europe.
