Google have released its Google Earth software for Android, with the flagship launch of the product being on the Google Nexus One.
The Nexus One is perfectly suited to Google Earth because it has high processing power, due to its 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and the beautiful high resolution screen which runs at a resolution of 800*480.
This new version of Google Earth is the fastest mobile version in the world, which runs at incredibly smooth framerate.
Google Earth for Android introduces Road Layers to mobile for the first time, which draws road labels on top of the satellite imagery. Additionally, the software capitalises on the voice recognition capability the Nexus One posses. It enables you to search for what you want by speaking into the device, which makes it even easier to find what you want. Like all version of Google Earth you can browse photos, places and businesses in your local community and across the world.
Google Earth for Android is compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 or later and can be downloaded from the Android marketplace now.
