Facebook Zero for Mobile Phones
![]() |
The busiest mobile social networking program in the world, Facebook Mobile, is going on a diet to become size zero. Facebook Zero will solve two issues. Firstly, the standard FaceBook mobile useage is creating bandwidth issues as so many people communicate this way over their mobile devices.
Last reports indicated that 100 million people use Facebook on their mobile device. Secondly, Facebook is not normally provided for the cheap end of the mobile phone market i.e. cheap phones.
Facebook Zero will tackle the 3G mobile operator’s headache ( bandwidth issues ) by removing all the date intensive operations like sending and receiving photos. It seems as though Facebook Zero will be a text only version offered for free.
